Dust treatment on the surface of steel pipe

After the steel pipe is descaled by shot blasting, before the next process of high-pressure electrostatic spraying of epoxy powder, the dust treatment device is used to carry out secondary treatment on the external surface of the steel pipe to remove the residual rust powder and dust on the external surface of the steel pipe, and the epoxy powder coating should be carried out within 4 hours, and if it takes more than 4 hours or the surface of the steel pipe appears to return to the rust, the surface must be re-treated. When the surface of steel pipe is treated with fine dust, the induced draft fan on the dust removing device should be started first, and then the dust removing motor should be started; if the production needs to be interrupted, the dust removing motor stop button should be pressed first, and then the induced draft fan should be stopped.


Clean the dust in the cyclone vacuum cleaner at regular intervals to avoid excessive accumulation and affect the dust removal effect.  (3) After starting the dust removal device, the working condition of the induced draft fan should be checked frequently.  (4) The dust removal electrode should be maintained on a regular basis to ensure normal operation.  (5) When anticorrosion production is carried out, the surface of the steel pipe should be checked at least once an hour for microdust treatment.


Steel pipe preheating

After the steel pipe is treated with fine dust, it should be preheated before epoxy powder coating, and the steel pipe is heated by KGPS-750uw constant power medium frequency machine, and the preheating temperature must be in accordance with the temperature required by epoxy powder coating, but the maximum temperature shall not exceed 275℃.


Check the water level of the medium frequency circulating pool, make sure the water volume is at least 2.5~3 cubic meters. Start the medium-frequency circulating water pump, check whether all the circulating water pipelines are leaking, only when you are sure that all the circulating water pipelines are normal, you can start the medium-frequency device machine.


According to the feeding speed and predetermined heating temperature of steel pipes of different diameters, use the experimental pipe to adjust and determine the output power value of the medium-frequency heating on the operating line.  


Use advanced temperature measuring instruments to measure the temperature of the steel pipe preheating, improve the accuracy of the measurement to ensure that the steel pipe for powder coating, the steel pipe preheating temperature in the range recommended by the powder coating manufacturer.  


When carrying out anticorrosion production, measurements are recorded at least once an hour to determine the preheating temperature of the steel pipe when powder coating is carried out.
