Welded Steel Pipe
EN 10217 Steel Pipe
EN 10217 pipe is a non-steel alloy that is intended for pressure applications. There are different parts of the same EN 10217-1 pipe specification that have different mechanical and physical properties with varying dimensions. The DIN EN 10217-7 pipe diameters for the EFW pipes vary from 5mm to 1219.2mm. The schedules range from sch5 through xxs and heavier. The EN 10217 welded steel pipe is produced by electric resistance welding. The pipe length can vary from single random, double random to custom cut to length sizes. The EN 10217 ERW pipe can be made with larger diameter. There are different grades under the same specification and they have carbon, silicon, manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, chromium, molybdenum, nickel and nitrogen in the composition.
