ASME SA500/SA500M

ASME SA500/SA500M Steel Pipe is an economical, structural grade Electric Resistance Welded pipe created from rolling a plate and welding it longitudinally to become a smooth pipe with a finished seam. ERW pipes are commonly used in low or medium pressure applications, such as transporting oil or water. A500 is a cold formed carbon steel that is North America’s most commonly specified Hollow Structural Section (HSS).

The tolerances of ASME SA500/SA500M are tighter than those of A53, therefore the A500 round pipe HSS has more quality and less variability than A53. Round HSS pipe has a superior surface finish and does not come with a lacquer coating. A500B Structural Pipe is manufactured for use in applications that demand greater strength, closer tolerances, and a superior finish. This product is an excellent choice for painted applications.

Specifications:

OD: 10.3-820 mm
